MP-02 Czajka – The best airplane in its class !!!

If you are interested in an airplane that does not require constant changes in the setting position of the flaps, it does not require the use of air brakes to control the angle of descent what disturb quick throttle response, which is fast, safe and beautiful – so let us to present You: MP-02 Czajka!

Czajka attracts attention not only appearance and solicitude to aesthetics in every detail, but also unique properties on the fly and performance. Thanks to refine aerodynamics and strong structure we can enjoy stability and high speed during the cruise as well as dynamic and precise control when maneuvering at a very high utility speed range. Never exceeded speed VNE =260 km/h (140 kts), and maximum cruising speed is 230 km/h (124 kts). Maximum speed in rough air VRA is 199 km/h (107 kts), what means that You can reach far destination in realy short time also in unfavourable wheather conditions. Producer ephasizes on safety: MP-02 Czajka is offered only whith balistic parashute rescue system. Airplane passed flutter test in Polish Institute of Aviation. Carbon made construction is strenght, as evidenced by for example feelings during the flight in rough, turbulent air, when aircraft seems to be compact and homogeneous unit. The class of registration – ultralight – imposes maximum load factors: +4/–2G. Czajka works perfect during windy and turbulent wheather thanks to mentioned earlier high VRA and also very effective controls in any flight speed, which (reasonable used) allows precise maneuvering and counteracting gusts even when You fly at very low speed. The same feature is useful in stall phase – even with flaps fully extracted, when minimum flight speed is 64 km/h (34 kts) and practically even less, what can be demonstrated, Czajka reacts on deflecting ailerons, so in case when pilots which often don’t have experience with stall and it happens to them react on bank or deviation using ailerons, they don’t will have unpleasent suprise. What is worth emphasizing, process of stall – airplane itself defends against entering into a spin, and this is because of such properties: lift dissapears earlier on horizontal stabilizer than on the wings in every configuration of flaps, what causes dropping the nose and automaticaly increasing the speed. Resumption proper airflow on horizontal sabilizer occures very quickly, what means, that with correct piloting lost of altitude after stalling is about 30m. When you are closing to stalling speed in turns, Czajka “sygnals” it, because a hit of air streams detached from wings in horizontal sabilizer becames to be felt. Czajka enables fully controlled and safe flight whith very low speed, which owes to use of double slotted flaps deflected up to an angle of 48 ° - the unique solution in a small aviation. This results in a very predictable behavior and maneuverability of the aircraft just at low speeds and enables efficient loss of altitude during the approach to landing. With some experience, during the landing approach the second speed range can be use to control the range of the flight without touching the throttle: with flaps fully extended below the speed of about 85 km / h the increase of angle of glide and reduce the range of gliding is a noticeable. At any time, by pushing the stick a little bit forward to increase the speed to 90-100 km / h we get the opposite effect.

Effectiveness of controls enables to enjoy great dynamic of airplane. Steep turns, fast roll changes, lazy eights also with full flaps are just some of flight elements, which makes fan! However, mastering the elements and correctness of the piloting, which in the case Czajka is essential to fully exploit its potential, it is not only the joy of flying, but also continuous improvement of the pilot, which pays off, and sometimes can determine the happy end of each flight.
